Twenty nine PATA Grand and Gold Awards were presented this year, with multiple awards going to Garuda Indonesia, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Kerala Tourism, Kuoni Travel (India), Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
PHNOM PENH – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) presented the PATA Grand and Gold Awards 2014 to 21 separate organisations and individuals at a special luncheon on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Koh Pich City Hall, during the PATA Travel Mart in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. These awards have long been supported and sponsored by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) for the past 19 years.
Twenty nine PATA Grand and Gold Awards were presented this year, with multiple awards going to Garuda Indonesia, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Kerala Tourism, Kuoni Travel (India), Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
The PATA Grand Awards are presented to outstanding entries in four principal categories: Marketing; Education and Training; Environment; and Heritage and Culture. This year, the Grand Awards were presented to Capilano University, Canada for Education and Training; Jetwing Vil Uyana, Sigiriya, Sri Lanka for Environment; Khiri Travel for Heritage; and Tourism New Zealand for Marketing.
