The Asian edition of the world’s largest annual travel fair will host approximately 800 tourist agencies and carriers at the three-day event.

SINGAPORE – For the first time, VietJet, Vietnam’s leading new age carrier, will be attending this year’s ITB Asia 2014, held from 29-31 October at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The Asian edition of the world’s largest annual travel fair will host approximately 800 tourist agencies and carriers at the three-day event. Organisers are also expecting 10,000 trade visitors to pass through the doors this year.

VietJet will be offering free round trip tickets from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City and tickets from Ho Chi Minh City to Danang, Central Vietnam to visitors at their stand. In a lucky draw, 500 tickets with a 50% discount for a round trip from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City will also be up for grabs.

Known to be one of the fastest growing airlines in Asia, VietJet currently operates 21 routes, with an extensive domestic network as well as direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok (Thailand) and Singapore.

VietJet is the first airline in Vietnam to own the A320 Sharklet Airbus and have pioneered systems for kiosk and automatic web check-ins to reduce waiting time for its customers. Early this year, VietJet signed a deal with Airbus for the order of up to 100 single aisle A320 jets to meet its future expansion plans. VietJet currently has a fleet of 15 aircraft today and operates more than 770 flights per week.
