Best Western brings new luxury to Greater Jakarta

The new Best Western Premier The Hive hotel will provide a luxurious new accommodation option for both business and leisure travelers.

BANGKOK – Best Western International has continued its rapid expansion in Indonesia, with the launch of a new luxury hotel in the Greater Jakarta region.

Located in East Jakarta, close to the bustling Cawang business district and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, which recently opened to commercial flights, the new Best Western Premier The Hive hotel will provide a luxurious new accommodation option for both business and leisure travelers.

This brand new hotel will offer an exemplary array of guest facilities, backed up with Best Western’s world famous service standards.

The 191 rooms and suites are spread over 15 floors, with sizes ranging from 32m² for a Superior Twin to almost 80m² for a Suite. Offering either pool or city views, all rooms come equipped with large LED televisions, plush beds and free Wi-Fi, while the suites will also feature premium coffee machines.

Best Western Premier The Hive is expected to live up to its name, becoming a hive of activity for the business travel market. Corporate guests will be well catered for, with choice of seven meeting rooms seating between 20 and 300 guests, plus a fully-equipped business center.

And all guests, whether traveling for business or leisure, can sample exquisite international cuisine at the Heather Resto restaurant, or unwind in the outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and Bhuvana Spa.

Indonesia is one of Best Western International’s fastest-growing markets and I am delighted to be able to add yet another excellent hotel to our portfolio in this exciting country,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & Middle East.

As part of our luxury Best Western Premier brand, this superb new hotel will elevate the guest experience to new heights, providing a range of amenities and services comparable to any five-star hotel.”

This is part a new era of Best Western hotels being developed in key business and leisure destinations across Indonesia, and the broader Asia Pacific region,” Mr. de Souza added.

Following the launch of Best Western Premier The Hive, Best Western International now has a portfolio of 11 hotels in Indonesia, including two luxury Best Western Premier properties. And the company has firm plans to add a further 20 hotels across the country in the coming years.
