Busan bus city tour launched

Second metropolis in Korea, Busan is now having its own city bus tour for tourists.

BUSAN – A special Busan city bus tour is now available, which is ideal for anyone who has limited time to see everything in Busan. The “Busan Guerrilla Bus Tour” began operation on July 1, 2014 and visits the major attractions in South Korea second largest city.

The bus runs both a night and day tour, departing 3 times a day with a tour guide on board who offers knowledge and stories of lesser known Busan attractions. The daytime tour covers nine major Busan attractions during a three and half hour trip, whereas the night tour takes visitors to eight popular spots around the city during a two and half hour tour.

Passengers need to arrive at Exit 8 of Busan Station on Busan Subway Line 1 and tickets must be purchased or reserved beforehand. Booking can be done via email or fax or on the bus tour’s website.

Situated on the most south-eastern portion of the Korean peninsula, Busan is Korea’s largest trading port. Korea’s first truly international city, Busan (Pusan) connects Asia, Europe, and North America. This geopolitically situated harbor city sits adjacent to the Korean Straits and Japan, bringing about an interchange of trade and tourism. The cosmopolitan metropolis has helped Busan hosting many large international events such as the 2002 14th Asian Games, the final match of the Korea/Japan World Cup, and since 1995 the world-known Pusan International Film Festival.

Busan Seashore sightseeing includes its beach areas, islands, and Hae Ahn Park. In downtown Busan, historical ruins and sites, museums, Dongnae shrine, the Busan World Cup Stadium, Bexco Exhibition and Convention Centre as well as large shopping malls are the main attractions for travellers. Busan’s most charming tourist point is its beautiful sea vistas.
