Asia Atlantic Airlines first in Asia to fly with SmartTray’s innovative PED friendly tray tables

SmartTray X1™ transforms decades old food tray design into tech-friendly tray tables, making in-flight time more productive and using PEDs more convenient and easy.

PHOENIX – SmartTray International, LLC, announced the launch of its SmartTray X1™ innovative and elegant tray table on Asia Atlantic Airlines Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, premium economy class seats. SmartTray X1™ tray tables have made headlines around the globe with their simple groove design that holds traveler’s brought-on-board tablets, e-readers and smart phones, giving passengers a hands-free experience while freeing up much needed tray table space.

Dretloh Aircraft Supply, Inc., based in Anaheim California, was selected by Asia Atlantic Airlines to refurbish seats and food tray tables on their Boeing 767-300ER airplanes. Randy Holte, the President of Dretloh, said: “We are very proud and excited to work with Asia Atlantic Airlines and SmartTray on this exciting launch. With more than 760 million people around the globe forecasted to own tablet devices by 2016, it is only a matter of time before all airlines recognize the needs of air travelers for a tray table that reflects the way people travel today.”
 
SmartTray partnered with Satterfield Aerospace for final engineering and FAA certification of SmartTray X2™ proprietary tray table product line; Dretloh Aircraft Supply Inc., for manufacturing and final assembly of tray tables; and Clear Channel Airports, a division of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., to help airlines monetize onboard incremental ad revenue opportunities with SmartTray’s turnkey lucrative ad revenue sharing programs.
