An action packed programme of fun, games and entertainment is being provided free of charge for guests by Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas Phuket with the appointment of an international company that specialises in organising events for tourists.
The resort, which is home to Splash Jungle, Phuket’s wildest, wettest water park, has an established reputation as a holiday destination for families.
Carpe Diem Entertainment Company, the largest company in southeast Europe providing entertainment for tourists, has been engaged by the resort to create and run a programme that means a family with children of any age will find plenty to keep everyone happy and busy. This applies to visitors from all around the world, as the resort provides multilingual services via staff that speak, in total, 15 languages.
Various activities at the five-star Centara Grand West Sands Resort are held seven days a week. Water aerobics are held daily by a Carpe Diem specialist in the largest of the resort’s pools, with an aqua gym in the morning, followed by water dancing in the afternoon. Before lunch, the family fun contest takes place at the poolside, with games everyone can join in, such as ring tossing, sandals shooting and Muay Talay, or pipe wrestling.
On the beach and in the resort are activities and tournaments that include volleyball, football, archery, bowling, giant checkers and much more. There is a Kids’ Club, with a zone for the youngsters of up to 10 years and a separate E-Zone game area for the older ones and the teens. Professional supervisors play games with the young ones in the Kids’ Club or on the beach, leaving parents to spend a little time relaxing on their own.
Every youngster having a birthday during their stay can have his or her own party, while a regular favourite for the kids is Super Hero Day, with lots of games. The children also have their own mini disco in the evenings by the poolside, and for everyone there is the Comedy Cabaret Show, in which guests including children can take part. Also free of charge to resort guests are all the fun and action of Splash Jungle, with its wave pool and 12 waterslides, including the Boomerango and Super Bowl thrill rides.
Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas Phuket has 500 metres of pristine beach frontage on Mai Khao Beach, the longest stretch of sand on Phuket Island, and features family-sized accommodation. Although this part of Phuket is renowned for its extensive areas of natural and undisturbed beauty, the resort is only 15 minutes away from Phuket International Airport.
