Held from August 10-15, 2014 the Port Stephens Spring Cup will be contested at Nelson Bay, Horizons and Pacific Dunes Golf clubs.
Golfers are expected to flock to the seaside destination of Port Stephens for the inaugural 2014 Spring Cup which will see them play on some of the country’s finest courses while kangaroos watch on.
The new event will be contested at Nelson Bay, Horizons and Pacific Dunes Golf clubs over four days and aims to provide players with a challenge in a fun and relaxed environment. The courses are renowned for their spectacular views and the kangaroos which often emerge from the bush to watch the action on the green.
The Cup package includes four days of golf, a welcome cocktail party, Tuesday night dinner and entertainment and a three-course presentation dinner. A rest day is also included to give players the opportunity to explore Port Stephens’ pristine beaches, blue waters, boutique shopping, whale and dolphin watching, wineries and gourmet cuisine.
With a registered handicap the competition will be played across grades for men and women with a mix of tee times and a shotgun start. Held from August 10-15, 2014, the event allows visitors to enjoy a golfing retreat outside peak holiday seasons. Registrations close July 12.
