Western China will welcome Chengdu International Travel Fair in November

With strong governmental support from the Chengdu Municipal Tourism Administration and the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition, CITF 2012 will serve as an enriching travel platform in the Sichuan province and the western region of China as the country gears up for the globalization of the tourism industry.

Western China will welcome the first ever mega-scale tourism exhibition, the Chengdu International Travel Fair (CITF) 2012 which is set to be held at the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center from 30 November to 2 December 2012.

With strong governmental support from the Chengdu Municipal Tourism Administration and the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition, CITF 2012 will serve as an enriching travel platform in the Sichuan province and the western region of China as the country gears up for the globalization of the tourism industry.

Chengdu has been elected as the emerging business hub in China and has been ranked first as the fastest growing cities in China in the next 10 years. Outbound tourism consumption is also projected to reach a new high of $80 billion, an increase of 16% from 2011. With much opportunities and potential in the future years to come, CITF 2012 is indeed the event to launch and expand the travel and tourism in western China.
