Spectrum of the Seas arrives at first Asian port, Mumbai

This marks the second time the global cruise line is deploying a brand-new ship to Asia for homeporting, which underscores its ever-growing confidence in the region.

Mumbai, India – Royal Caribbean International’s newest ship Spectrum of the Seas has arrived in Asia, with her first call at Mumbai port on 9 May, as part of a 14-night cruise from Dubai to Singapore.

This marks the second time the global cruise line is deploying a brand-new ship to Asia for homeporting, which underscores its ever-growing confidence in the region.

From Singapore, Spectrum of the Seas will offer a 3-night cruise to Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) on 18 May and a 4-night cruise to Penang on 21 May. A 9-night one-way cruise from Singapore to Shanghai, calling at Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and Hong Kong (with an overnight stay) will commence on 25 May.

From June 2019, Spectrum of the Seas will debut her Shanghai season.

Debut in Barcelona last month, Spectrum of the Seas is the first of the Quantum Ultra Class. At a total capacity of 5,622 guests and 1,139 feet long, the ship overtakes Quantum and Ovation of the Seas, both currently Asia’s largest.
