Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is the leading, international travel and tourism event in the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. ATM 2016 attracted almost 40,000 industry professionals, agreeing deals worth US$2.5bn over the four days.

Travel trade professionals from across the world’s hospitality industry descended upon Dubai on Monday 24th for the opening of Arabian Travel Market(ATM) 2017, the region’s leading travel industry showcase.

The 24th edition of the Arabian Travel Market welcomed over 2,600 confirmed exhibitors – with 100 exhibiting for the first time – representing more than 150 countries, across 65 national pavilions. The show also extended across an additional hall, in order to meet growing demand.


Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced at the Arabian Travel Market that they will launch new properties like Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, the most anticipated luxury hotel opening in Colombo for 35 years, and the eagerly awaited re-opening of the Tower Wing at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced that it will relaunch the luxurious Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa in Oman as a private standalone resort in October 2017


The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Qatar Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2017 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under the MoU, TAT and Qatar Airways will develop joint promotions to mutually increase tourism and visibility for Thailand to travellers in more than 150 destinations the airline flies to


Tourism Authority of Thailad introduced “Unique local Experiences” campaign to the Middle East market in this years’ Arabian Travel Market. At the Thailand Pavilion, Thai sellers and TAT staff were welcoming visitors by offering them a touch of Thai Local Experiences in various interesting activities. There was an authentic demonstration led by entertainers from Samut Songkran, a new destination TAT is promoting along with traditional Thai Massages


Kyoto City, Japan joined Arabian Travel Market in order to promote ‘Forest Bathing’ as a new tourism promotion based on reducing stress for visitors from the Middle East. The popularity among GCC nationals surges with overnight increases by 33% in 2016


India’s list of natural charms and captivating attractions seems never-ending. From the country’s welcoming populace to its lush landscapes and exceptional cuisine, there’s much that defines this exciting destination. India’s largest market is Bangladesh, with 1.37 million visitors entering from its north-eastern neighbour in 2016


With so much to offer, Indonesia’s tourism numbers are understandably on the rise, with a surge of 15.54 percent in 2016, to 12.02 million. This surpassed the 12 million target set by the goverment, which is now looking to rival neighbours Thailand and Malaysia as it aims to reach 20 million visitors by 2019


Maldives Marketing and Public Relation Corporation together with partners from the Maldivian Tourism Industry participated at the 24th Annual Arabian Travel Market. The Maldives delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Hussain Lirar accompanied by Acting Managing Director of MMRPC, Mr. Haris Mohamed. The Ambassador Designate of Maldives for the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Hussain Niyaz will part of the official Maldives Delegation. A total of 59 companies and over 125 participants have traveled to Dubai to attend ATM 2017 fair to showcase their products
