Lee Lik Hsin (Scoot Airlines): We chose Greece because of its unique beauty

We had the opportunity to meet with the Chief Executive Officer of Scoot, Mr Lee Lik Hsin who talked to TravelDailyNews Asia-Pacific about the new Singapore-Athens long haul direct flight, which is the first low-cost one connecting Europe and Asia. He also told us about the perspective that Scoot aims to have on the Asian region, and how the airline cooperates with travel agents and DGSs.

Mr Lee Lik Hsin was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Scoot and Tigerair on May 2016.
 
Previously he has been Chief Executive Officer of Budget Aviation Holdings Pte Ltd at Singapore Airlines Limited since May 17, 2016. Mr. Hsin served as Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Airways Holdings Limited at Singapore Airlines Limited from May 12, 2014 to May 10, 2016. He has been Executive Director of Tiger Airways Holdings Limited since July 31, 2013. He also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning at Singapore Airlines Ltd. from April 1, 2012 to July 31 2013 and served as its Head of Corporate Planning Division since February 1, 2011.
 
He has studied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
