The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) welcomed its new General Manager, Club Melbourne Ambassador Program, Suzana Bishop. Suzana returns to the MCEC team from MCI Australia where she oversaw the strategic direction of the Australian PCO division as Practice Leader Institutional Division. During this time she developed strong working relationships with key Club Melbourne Ambassadors. From 2008 to 2011 she was Sales Manager Conventions at MCEC and worked closely with the Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) on event development. Suzana said she is excited to return and looks forward to building on the success of Club Melbourne which has been involved in acquiring 58 international business events for MCEC and enjoys global recognition for its achievements. With over ten years’ experience in the events and hospitality industry Suzana specialises in business development, sales, event planning and marketing.
